Neely Shamam has been working in entertainment for over a decade developing, producing, and programming content for an array of platforms (OTT & streaming services, network & cable TV, and social media apps). Neely is an experienced executive producer and creative executive with a penchant for quality storytelling and a keen eye for talent and what works.

LET'S GET SPECIFIC.
Currently, Neely is VP of Development at the Oscar winning animation studio, Lion Forge Animation. At LFA, she oversees all creative development and shepherds projects through their entire life cycle. Previously, Neely was Head of Content at the streaming platform, Ficto. There, she was responsible for developing and programming Ficto's entire slate, including breakout original series such as Represent, (a docu-series featuring Olympic Gold Medal winner, Carissa Moore), I'll Ask the Stupid Questions, (starring K-pop sensation, Amber Liu), and Not Another Sports Show hosted by comedian and actor, Lil Rel Howery. In addition to development, Neely's skillset includes sourcing stellar content and identifying talent on the up and up.
At Maker Studios (which was acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2017), Neely created and oversaw multiple successes, including the launch of the company's first comedy channel (garnering almost a million subscribers and millions of views) and dozens of viral videos from top talent. She oversaw the creative voice, development, production, programming and distribution strategy of series and sketches that have been featured in Time, People, Good Morning America, The Huffington Post, GQ, Nerdist, Jezebel, and various blogs you've probably never read. Additionally, she has executive produced over 12 full series, ranging from YA, comedy, gaming, and animation. Each series caters to the various platform requests, ranging in length and style, as well as brand identity. Basically, she's a platform and content chameleon.
A handful of noteworthy talent Neely has produced for include Rachel Bloom (of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend fame), Esther Povitsky (Alone Together), Nat Faxon (Married), Tyler The Creator (rapper and member of Odd Future musical group),Ed Bagley Jr. (This is Spinal Tap), Epic Rap Battles of History (3.7B+ views), Bobby Lee (comedian extraordinaire), and Good Neighbor (the former comedy troupe consisting of SNL stars, Beck Bennett and Kyle Mooney).
Neely has created content for Disney, Hulu, Roku, Snapchat, Facebook and TruTv (among others). She is also an award-winning Producer for her adaptation of Sam Shepard & Patti Smith's play, Cowboy Mouth, at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Besides loving great stories and nuanced characters, Neely has an unhealthy obsession with dogs and frozen yogurt.
